You can use ‘I came here to’ to explain the purpose or specific reason for your visit. What if we changed the sentence from ‘I came here to see you'(simple past v)👉’I have come to see you'(present perfect v)? It’s a different sentence but it essentially has the same meaning. They are both grammatically and contextually correct. Perhaps it is more common to say ‘ I came here to see you’. What do you think?
