Writer’s Note
It’s important to note that won’t is a contraction of will not. There are subtle differences and I’d like to go over them with you. Will not is more formal and emphatic. In some cases, using it will sound more like a command or an ultimatum. If you’re in dialogue, you should try to use won’t, as it sounds more natural.
